Anti-Bribery and Corruption

PortoSpire’s policy is to engage in business practices in full compliance with the laws in the countries and regions where the company conducts business. PortoSpire has zero tolerance for any corruption including bribery or other improper payments in any of its business operations.

  1. Bribes or other improper or unauthorized payments that directly or indirectly make, offer, or promise to make: kickbacks, benefits, or advantages to any person, individual, organization, or entity are prohibited. A violation of this policy can occur even if a bribe or other corrupt practice fails to achieve the desired outcome.
  2. Improper payments prohibited by this policy include bribes, kickbacks, excessive gifts or entertainment, or any other payment made or offered to obtain an undue business advantage. These payments should not be confused with reasonable and limited expenditures for gifts, business entertainment and other legitimate activities directly related to the conduct of PortoSpire’s business.
  3. This prohibition applies to all business activities, anywhere in the world, whether involving government officials or other commercial enterprises. A bribe or other improper payment to secure a business advantage is never acceptable and can expose individuals and PortoSpire to possible criminal prosecution, harm of reputation, or other serious consequences.
  4. This policy applies to everyone at PortoSpire, including all officers, employees and agents or other intermediaries acting on PortoSpire’s behalf. Each officer and employee of PortoSpire has a personal responsibility and obligation to conduct PortoSpire’s business activities ethically and in compliance with all applicable laws based on the countries and regions where PortoSpire does business. Failure to follow this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal. Restitution could also be required, and civil or criminal action against individuals could be warranted.
